Cycling Checklists

Never leave the tube, the pump or the puffy behind again. Pick your kind of ride, dial in the distance, elevation and days, and get a complete checklist built for exactly that trip — from a fast road loop to a loaded bikepacking tour.

Road

Fast, light, tarmac miles

Skinny tyres and smooth pavement. Pack light but never skip the essentials — a stranded roadie is a long walk from home.

Gravel

Backroads, self-supported

Mixed surfaces and remote roads mean fewer bail-out options. Carry what you need to fix a bigger problem and get yourself home.

Mountain

Technical trail & descents

Rough, remote and hard on the bike and body. Protection and self-rescue matter more than saving grams.

Bikepacking

Multi-day, fully loaded

You're carrying your trip on the bike. Everything below scales with the number of days — dial the days up to unlock sleep, cooking and resupply.

Checklist FAQ

How do the dynamic cycling checklists work?
Pick your discipline — road, gravel, mountain or bikepacking — then set the distance, elevation gain and number of days for your ride. The checklist rebuilds itself: longer, hillier or multi-day trips automatically add the extra spares, food, layers and camping gear you'll need.
What should I always carry on a bike ride?
At a minimum: a helmet, front and rear lights, a spare tube or plug kit, tyre levers, a pump or CO₂, a multi-tool, water, food, ID with an emergency contact, and a phone. These essentials are flagged on every checklist regardless of ride length.
What's different about a bikepacking checklist?
Bikepacking is self-supported and multi-day, so on top of the riding essentials you carry sleep, shelter, cooking and water-treatment systems, more spares, and navigation and charging that can survive days off-grid. Increase the 'days' slider to unlock those sections.
Can I save or print my checklist?
Yes. Your ride settings and everything you've ticked off are saved in your browser, so the list is still there when you come back. Use 'Print / save PDF' to take a hard copy or a phone-friendly PDF on the road.
